💜 Marching Forward with Purpose
Spring kicked off with our monthly Food & Resource Distributions—a staple of what we do. Rain or shine, we showed up for our neighbors, connecting them to what they need most: support, dignity, and resources. But we didn’t stop there.
🗳️ Celebrate & Activate: Block Party Vibes + Voter Power!
June 14th was not your average Saturday. We teamed up with NYC Votes for an incredible Celebrate & Activate Block Party in honor of early voting. Imagine music, laughter, community, empowerment — and most importantly, new and reactivated voters getting ready to make their voices heard. This wasn’t just a party; it was a movement.
🏛️ Voices Heard at the State of the Borough
Our founder made sure THA Godmother was in the room where it happens, attending the State of the Borough Address with Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson. Because when decisions are being made, we believe our communities should always have a seat — and a voice — at the table.
🧠 Mind, Body & Mission: Mental Health Matters
In May, we linked up with AGS (Always Giving Season) to spotlight the mental health needs of our community. Not only did we celebrate and uplift the women of our neighborhoods, but we also created a safe space for our brothers, hosting a powerful men’s mental health activity. Because healing and wholeness are for everyone.
🎓 Education Station: We Stay Ready
The 2025–2026 school year is already on our radar. We’ve been in full prep mode—training, equipping, and mobilizing—to help parents, caregivers, and students start strong and finish stronger. Trust, we’ve got your back from the first bell to the final exam.

💜 Purple Power: Epilepsy Awareness Lives On
June 28th was another highlight as we partnered once again with our friends at Seize the Cure for Epilepsy to host another phenomenal epilepsy awareness event. Community. Compassion. Connection. That’s what it’s all about.

From building new partnerships to sitting in planning meetings to showing up where others won’t — THA Godmother has been everywhere, and we’re just getting started. We’re rooted in service and committed to the cause, and we do it all with love, laughter, and legacy in mind.
